A New Look Trust!

The Trust is thrilled to present its new logo which encompasses our ethos to support, enable and grow our communities. This eye-catching logo demonstrates the direction for the Trust and what is most important to us, which is the Beechwood and Craylands community.

BVCT starts a new adventure!

BVCT are pleased to announce that they are funding and partnering with Essex Boys & Girls Club to deliver extensive youth provision across Beechwood and Craylands for the coming year.

This investment will provide exciting opportunities for local teenagers, such as adventure park visits, trips to the zoo, weekends away as well as local activities including sport and cooking.

This incredible programme will benefit hundreds of local young people, encouraging them to expand their horizons and embark on new experiences.

Christmas At The Beech

On Saturday 7th December we will be holding a Beechwood Information Day at The Beech Community Hub.

As part of this we will be having a small festive get together where we will be providing mince pies and other festive treats for residents. We are keen to work with you to better understand what we can do to benefit your community

As part of our ‘Make a Difference’ campaign we want residents to come forward and lead and deliver local projects and have funding available to support this.

Please come and visit us to enjoy the festivities and learn more about how you can be involved.

Beechwood Boxercise Awards

The Beechwood Boxercise club was funded by the Trust through the Sport Inspired programme and has been thriving ever since. They will be holding their first annual awards at The Beech Community Centre on Thursday 19th December to celebrate the participants’ commitment and progression over the past 12 months.

Further to this, the fantastic volunteers running the club have also been recognised for all their great work in the community and have been shortlisted for both the Active Basildon Sports Awards and the Basildon Volunteer Awards.

The club have also recently applied to the BVCT for funding and have been successful in being awarded a grant which will be used to help the club expand. With this support they will be able to purchase the equipment needed to progress the club and allow the local young people to further develop their skills and passion for the sport.
